Javeria Waseem Ahmed, M.D.

Dr. Ahmed was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, where she attended medical school at Dow Medical College, and then completed her internship at a tertiary care hospital in Karachi. She is the first physician in her family.

After relocating to Houston, Texas in 2022, she began working as a Medical Scribe at a Family Medicine outpatient practice in 2023. Her medical interests include inpatient medicine and preventive care. She has been actively involved in volunteer work, particularly through health fairs focused on serving underserved communities.

During her free time, she enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes with her husband. She also loves traveling, playing board games, and spending time with family, friends and her cats.

I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow into the physician I have always aspired to be, under the guidance of the esteemed faculty and alongside my fellow residents. Pheba Elias Mathew, M.D.

Dr. Pheba Elias Mathew was born and raised in India. She attended medical school at Three Gorges University, China and completed her internship in India. After relocating to the U.S., she worked as medical scribe and patient care specialist in various medical offices and Urgent care facilities.

Her medical interests include women’s health and outpatient medicine with a focus on educating people about healthy lifestyle.

In her spare time, Pheba likes to read mystery novels or watch crime shows. She also loves spending time with her 6-month-old baby.

“I feel blessed to start my medical training at Delta Health System-The Medical Center where the attendings and residents are so kind and caring. I am grateful to serve the people of Mississippi Delta and would love to call Greenville my new home”.

Rana Farman, M.D.

Home - Lahore, Pakistan

Dr. Farman was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, where he earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University. His early interest in community health and preventive medicine grew through active involvement in public health outreach. In 2022, he moved to Long Island, NY, to pursue breast cancer research at Stony Brook Cancer Center, sharpening his skills in diagnostic medicine and multidisciplinary care. He later worked as a Senior Patient Care Specialist, gaining valuable experience.

Driven by a commitment to holistic, patient-centered care, Dr. Farman’s interests include chronic disease management, preventive health, mental health integration, and improving access in underserved communities. His diverse experiences have reinforced his dedication to the core principles of family medicine: continuity, advocacy, and comprehensive care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Farman enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, exploring the outdoors, and embarking on scenic road trips across the U.S.—from the mountains of Colorado and Utah to the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico.

Ilham Iftikar, M.D.

Home - Placentia, CA

Dr. Ilham Iftikar was born and raised in Matale, Sri Lanka, and earned his medical degree from the West China School of Medicine, Sichuan University. During his clinical experiences across China, Sri Lanka, and Texas, he came to value the depth of trust and continuity that family medicine offers. These experiences shaped his desire to practice in a setting where long-term relationships and community engagement are central to care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Ilham enjoys watching UFC, going to the gym, spending time outdoors, and being with friends and family.

“I’ve always been inspired by how much there is to learn in medicine. It keeps me curious and grounded—there’s always something new to learn, especially from the people around me, whether patients, colleagues, or the community. I see the knowledge and skills I’ve gained as a gift, and I feel a deep responsibility to use them in a way that truly supports people through life’s challenges—to show up, to listen, and to be present when it matters most!”

Mausam Kalsariya, M.D.

Home - Gujarat, India

Dr. Kalsariya was born and raised in Gujarat, India. Growing up, she always dreamed of becoming a doctor, and was fortunate to pursue that dream at GMERS Medical College, Gotri. After completing her internship, she worked as a junior doctor for a couple of years before moving to the United States to continue her medical journey.

She is especially passionate about providing full-spectrum care in family medicine, with particular interest in women’s health, preventive medicine, addiction medicine, and caring for underserved communities.

In her free time, Dr. Kalsariya loves exploring new things and is always eager to learn something different. She enjoys being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping, or dancing! She also cherishes time with friends and family. And if there’s food involved, you can always count her in!

David Seigel, M.D.

Home - Bethesda, MD

Dr. Seigel was born and raised in Bethesda, MD where he inherited his father’s love of medicine, helping others and building relationships.

It has been his life-long dream to become a Primary Care Physician and make a difference in his community. His professional interests include Preventative Medicine, community outreach and education, as well as being an ally and health advocate for his patients.

In his leisure time he enjoys co-operative, strategy, and role-playing games. He enjoys experimenting with old and new cooking recipes, reading Science-Fiction novels, and spending time with his wife, family and friends.

His personal philosophy is: “Everyone is Us.” Meaning that we all have more things in common with each other than what divides us. “Whoever saves a life, it is as though they have saved the entire world.”

Advait Soni, M.D.

Medical School - Saint James School of Medicine St. Vincent and the Grenadines
Home - Diamond Bar, CA

Dr. Soni is originally from Chicago, Illinois and raised in Southern California. He earned his medical degree from Saint James School of Medicine and went on to complete a dual M.S./M.B.A. from Indiana University in Bloomington. Much of his medical education and training has been centered in the Midwest, where he has had the privilege of serving underrepresented communities – an experience that has profoundly shaped his commitment to compassionate, patient centered care.

His medical interests span both inpatient and outpatient primary care, with a special focus on preventive medicine. Dr. Soni is passionate about building long-term relationships with patients— from hospital bedside to the clinic – supporting them through every stage of life.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling, playing tennis and golf, and spending quality time with his family.
