Delta Regional Healthcare Foundation Donates Safety Vests To Greenville Police Department
News
Melissa Haley, Trauma Program Manager, at Delta Health System, recently presented pedestrian safety vests to Chief Marcus Turner of the Greenville Police Department to support public safety efforts in the City of Greenville. Officers will use the vests to help improve visibility for pedestrians, particularly along highway areas, in an effort to reduce pedestrian versus vehicle accidents. The donation was made possible through the support of the Delta Regional Healthcare Foundation and reflects a shared commitment to injury prevention and community safety.
“Pedestrian safety is an important part of injury prevention in our community,” said Melissa Haley, Trauma Director at Delta Health System. “We are grateful to the Delta Regional Healthcare Foundation for making this donation possible and to the Greenville Police Department for their continued partnership in keeping our community safe.”
The presentation highlights the continued collaboration between Delta Health System, the Delta Regional Healthcare Foundation, and the Greenville Police Department to promote safety and injury prevention in Greenville.
“Community partnerships are essential to building a healthier and safer Delta,” said Iris Stacker, Chief Executive Officer. “Through the generosity of the Delta Regional Healthcare Foundation and the dedication of leaders like Melissa Haley and Chief Marcus Turner, we can invest in meaningful efforts that protect and support our community. These collaborations truly make a difference for the people we serve.”
